The “New Normal” at Beautylicious Taunton

So last Thursday we waited with baited breath to see if the Government would finally give us a date to re-open the salon but what we didn’t expect was them to say this MONDAY!

This came as a bit of a shock to us all when we heard the “quickly“ announced date as we were lead to believe it would be around the 27th July which would have given us plenty of time to get ready!

We all met in the salon on Friday to finalise our reopening plan and decided that the best thing would be to open on Wednesday 15th as it would give us a few days to get everything in place.

You may already know but a the moment there are treatment restrictions in place and we are unable to carry out any treatments on the face, this includes:

Brow Treatments - Brow Waxes, Brow Tints

Eyelash Treatments - Eyelash Extensions, Eyelash Tints, Eyelash Lifts

Facial waxing - Brow Waxes, Lip & Chin Waxes

Facials - self explanatory

Caci Facials - Electrical Facials, Microcurrent, Microdermabrasion etc

But the good news it we can do manicures, shellac/gel polish, pedicures and body waxing.

New Salon Rules

We have implanted lots of procedures to ensure we can offer you a safe treatment and environment when you visit us. We have have a hand sanitising station at the front of the salon, we have spaced our downstairs nail desk 2 metres apart and have limited them to 2 desks (we previously had 3 in row) we will not be using the reception desk, will take your contactless payment and make your appointments at the nails desk, pedicure chair or treatment room to reduce contact and movement within the salon. We have decided not to offer body treatments & massage for the time being as we would be enclosed within a smaller space and there is a lot more skin contact. We have more hand sanitisers placed throughout the salon. Covid -19 Health Forms will be sent to all clients 24hrs before their appointments. And of course we have allocated time between each client to allow for cleaning our work areas and changing our require ppe.
